I found a martial arts place that has just opened in the center of Itaewan on the main street and would like to recommend it. I met the instructor yesterday and he is a really decent guy, seemed really professional too. They have literally just opened and the studio is fantastic with all new equipment. Anyway, thought I'd just let people know about it because I used to train in TaeKwonDo and have some experience with different schools and this one seems ideal. The instructor is a Master in Hapkido and also trained in Taekwondo. He speaks fluent English and is pretty outgoing too, another friend of mine said he's a fantastic teacher.
So, he teaches Hapkido, TaeKwonDo, Weapons use, Judo+Submission and Yoga. His classes are designed especially for foreigners and all taught in English. Anyway, stop in yourself if you're interested, just have a chat/coffee with the instructor, his name is NamSu.
The studio name is TMAS and its on the main street opposite the OutBack Steakhouse near the Hamilton Hotel (3rd Floor). Good luck!
