I don't know about you guys but I'm feeling korean girls only problem is when I start dating them they get a bit wierd. On average I may only see them 1 or 2 times a week. They are always busy, never want to come to the pad and "watch a movie" as often as when I was just hooking up with them. Plans may change pretty fast, and my god don't let me get started on the fights over nothing. My x threatened to throw herself out of a 12 storey building window. ANYWAY just wondering if I'm alone in this crazy dating scene.

Sumed up = Seeing them "casually" is fine but becoming girlfriend and boyfriend changes the whole dynamic (perhaps social pressure or parental pressure --> they know it will never work????

I don't imagine you are alone, but I can't feel you on any of the problems that you are encountering.

I don't necessarily see it as being a nationality thing either. What kind of girls do you randomly see and where do you meet them?

I never dated a chick I met at a bar. On the subway, sure. On the bus, yah. In the bar? No way man. They're psycho. If you date them they might threaten to, like, throw themselves off a balcony or something over an argument about nothing.

I suggest hitting up the local university library to find normal girls.

It's smarter than riding the village bike in Itaewon.

Take it for what it is, an easy lay. I'd be willing to bet my bank account that 99% of relationships that happen out of bar scenarios do not work out well.

My lousy excuse of a brother is going through this as well, except you replace the names of the well-known Itaewon haunts with names like "Hula-Hanks" and "Alchemy" and replace the name "Gecko's" with "The Playwright"......

Itaewon and Hongdae are good places to find an easy piece on short notice......but for a nice girl?....well..............

This has always been my philosophy: Don't go looking for love, let love find you.....if the time is right and you are with the right person, you'll know.......other than that, enjoy the free ride on the community merryground and make sure to scrub in the morning....

Haha...just had a similar thing with a Korean girl. She was always getting "sick" and whatnot. One day she suddenly had 2 jobs and was too busy to see me that week...haha. A korean girl that's a friend of mine told me some of the girls I will meet at the bar probably have Korean boyfriends and just want to hook up, but they wont just tell you that.

Actually even Kgirls you don't meet in bars are friggen flaky.

I find big chunk of the Korean women are flakes, whether its their little game or cultural and social norms I honestly don't know.

Acting childish is largely considered attractive. Though attitudes towards this seem to be changing a bit and there are more and more Korean women who don't want to act childish to be attractive. The times they are a-changin'.
