I would like to find a place I could rent. I don't live in Seoul, but I would like to spend 1-2 weeks in Seoul from time to time. Is there a way I can arrange this?
In Japan and back in the states, it was easy to find people looking for a roommate. With Korea giving a private apartment to teachers, I don't see as many offers here.
Is it possible? Are there people who are looking for a roommate? I wouldn't be living there, just a place to crash, so I don't have to trek back and forth for hours when I don't have to work. |

You do see ads, online and on the street, for roommates needed in Haebongchon.
You could also rent a room at a goshiwon. Look that up online, it's like a small sleeping room, around 200,000 a month or something. |
