It was a close thing this evening whilst choosing my dinner. I was sorely tempted to go with 2 boiled eggs and soldiers, but at the last minute I changed my mind and had them scrambled instead.

The missus thought it was a good choice as well since we don't have any egg cups and I don't like holding hot eggs with my fingers while trying to cut the top off.

I had reached my limit with burnt fingers and yolk all over them. I know it probably wasn't the best thing to do but I feel good for having had them scrambled for a change.

Have you only just got up mrsquirrel?

Always found boiled eggs a bit of a pain. Only like the yellow and not the rubbery white at the bottom which will have bits of shell in. Poached is way better.

Ain't got an egg poacher and have never successfully poached eggs in water without one.

Tried all the techniques and they just don't work.

Easy. Few drops of vinegar and some salt in a simmering pan.

Take the egg and just lower it into the pan for ten seconds. Then take it back out. Swirl the water round so that it does it on it's own after a bit. Then break the egg into the middle. The swirling helps it keep it's shape. Give it 2-3 minutes in the simmering water and then lift it out.

Look Spliff, I'm sorry you are offended I denied your fetish for big lovin'

So I understand your need to snipe. Send the old lady over though and I'll shed some pounds. She can be my personal trainer. I'll send through her a salty sweat stained pair of large briefs you can throw over your melon and roll around with as reward.
