So my damn adaptors i brought from home dont work.....anyone know where i can find a UK to Korean adaptor in Seoul????

im not in seoul so i dont know where exactly. but just ask anyone for a big electronics department store/market and they will have them. when you go in just draw a picture of a uk plug socket and they will know straight away. easy. oh, and dont worry about damaging your electronics; the uk standard is i think one of the highest voltage in the world, so dont let any yanks scare you about needing a transformer etc (all my stuff including a laptop work no problem with an adapter.) the yanks need a transformer cus theyre on 110v, so the 220v sockets blow their kit.

hi guys,

literally 5 minutes after i posted this the guy i the shop started maiking conversation in pretty good english so i asked him. Turns out there was a store right in front of me that sold them haha.

I used them for about a year, but they never stayed in real good.
Lots ofarcing and sometimes they would disconnect from the power.
Not good if your on a notebook, or charging batteries.
500원 will get you a nice Korean plug, way better than adaptors, just swap back before you head to the UK.

EDIT: You'll be like someone with a broken neck: you'll never look back again Smile
