Hello,
A little help?
If you have a tourist visa (3month- aussie), can you leave the country for a week and then come back in? Would you be on the same tourist visa or get a new one?
Thanks

You would need a new visa if you leave the country and your visa expires.

Are you talking about a real tourist visa (C3) or just the visa waiver stamp that you get on arrival?

If you are referring to the visa waiver entry stamp, you can leave, return and get a new stamp on entry (even if your return is later the same day).

You get a new stamp each time you arrive that restarts the 3 month clock again.

Yeah, it's just the visa waiver.

it's automatically cancelled when you leave but then you get a new one, like the other poster said, even if it's the same day.
