I have a friend who has some initial interest from this school. It is in Pohang.

So what's the good word, folks? Can anyone speak to the working environment?

Tell your friend to PM me. Until a few weeks ago I was working there, and really liked it. I was there for 4 years working on my 5th. I had to return to the US, suddenly (Mom's cancer had spread to her brain, not much "good" time left), and they were quite understanding, even though my sudden departure left them in a bind -- which is likely why they have an opening. I intend to go back there when things "resolve" (yes that's a euphemism... unfortunately, I do not believe in miracles...).
