DON'T EAT IT!

http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/biz/2008/03/123_21009.html

From this story, it appears the Koreans are trying to shift the blame to the Chinese for problems with contaminated food, not without reason.

On the other hand, there are plenty of pesticides presumably being used by amateurs in Korea, and other potential sources of contamination of food.

I bought a can of peaches with a Korean label and they sure tasted of chemicals. I eventually stopped eating them. I should have stopped with the first bite. They were on sale, two for one.

You are not back home. What you eat here could leave you with permanent damage, such as to your kidneys or liver, if it is contaminated.

What are the odds? Who knows. Trust your taste buds.

If it tastes wrong, don't eat it.
