So it FINALLY fell below 1000...the won is fluctuating A LOT!

I'm sending a bunch of money home. Now if I am sending home more money then I make in a month will the bank give me problems about it? I'm doing it today, I'm not risking waiting any more. If I wait I feel it will go above 1000 again.....

What do you guys think?

Scared?
I got over that a long time ago....don't bother freaking out over something you have absolutley NO control over. Just do what you do and get on with it.

That sucks. Sorry to hear about that.

I wonder what tomorrow/tonight will bring for the won. I think I'm sending money home after school....

Will I run into problems if I try to send more money home, then I make in a month? I feel like the people at the bank wont let me do it. I guess I can always try and see what happens...

I'm not scared, I personally dont give a monkey's *beep* what happens as long as the won stays below 1000. I'm saying I'm hoping everyone else is scared so the won keeps dropping....so either today or tomorrow I'm sending home cash...if they let me send home a bunch.

I don't mean to burst anyones bubble, but i think your getting that 998 to 1 CAD off of xe.com or something. But,.... if you need to send money home, say from a korean bank, WU or something the rate is 1018! They add there own little charge to make a pretty penny!

So we still got a ways to go.

I've fromtheuk and I've checked how 2 million won translates into British pounds on the xe website.

A few months ago, it came to about 1,078 pounds. Today, it is 995 pounds.

I won't be wiring any money back home unless it goes back to 'normal'.

You won't get this rate at a bank. It'll be well over 1000 per dollar. Yesterday was 1035.

Nonetheless, send your money home.

I'm doing so tomorrow.

You can send as much home if you want as long as you can prove you made that money legally. ie, bring 4 or 5 pay stubs if you want to send home large amount of money.

I'll be sending home 15million tomorrow so I'll have to bring in 6 or 7 paystubs to prove I made it legally.

Those people should have known that this is not day trading. I was talking about a longer term investment. Some economists are saying it is on its way to $2000, and another even said $3000. This is merely a blip in response to the fed's bailing out of Bear Stearns. Better yet, this is a great buying opportunity.

Payday, hurry up!
