I'm about to leave for Seoul and am wondering what shots are worth getting. I am asuming hepatitis is a must, tetnis might not hurt, and malaria I might be able to live without, but all of this is pretty much a wild guess.

can any of you respected korea travel veterans give me pointers? any info is much appreciated

You'd be much better off getting an appointment with a doctor/nurse than getting information from people on here. Hep A and B are generally recommended, but you should have dealt with this before as Heb B, for example, requires more than one shot over the period of at least one month. Malaria is not an issue in Seoul and most of Korea.

Don't get a shot for yellow fever.

You'll have no fun over here if you do.

I got rabis done before i came over here but it was expensive and not really necessary (plus its not really a vaccination), and it was recommended that i get Japanese Encephalitis if i was going to be somewhere rural with wild pigs and mosquitos in the vicinity. It was expensive where im from (UK) and you need to give yourself 5 or 6 weeks to do it as well otherwise they wont let you fly because of the risk on anaphylaxis. so just your hep A and B and a tetnus boaster is all you probably need.
