|
|
I've been curious about this for a while. For all of you who are married to a Korean woman: Does your wife give you a "honey do" list for the weekends?
When I used to work in The States, I'd ask my male coworkers what plans they had for the weekend. The married ones would deeply exhale and say, "My wife has a list for me."
If you're a foreign woman married to a Korean: Do you have a "honey do" list for your husband? |

My mom sort of does that to my dad back home. It's usually stuff she can't do... work on the physical structure of the house, fix something, etc. |

I would love to see my dad's face if he was presented a 'to do' list. |

Please explain.
I'm especially curious about this issue, and have been wanting to ask how many times per week it's OK for a married guy to hang out with his pals. And how late on a weekday or weekend? |

Sometimes when my wife tells me about a family gathering on a weekend - with her drunk uncle who sings old Korean songs in my ear and has been repeating his pattented "English, good!" expression for 7 years, now - I consider it a "to do" list with one item. |
