Great picture and sound! Have to downgrade because I now live in a smaller room. TV has ambient left/right AND center speakers, plus two full left/right speaker outputs, RCA inputs (video, stereo sound) for TWO devices like DVD player and camera, and one row of RCA OUTPUT (few TV's have this) so you can output your cable signal to any other device (such as a capture card or other monitor)

asking price: 80, 000 and for an extra 10, I can deliver this Honkin' Big set to most places in central Seoul (Itaewon, Sinchon, but Sadang might cost 15). I'm in Mapo, but the delivery would be the same for about a three km radius from there.

I do not need/want a TV, but I had to read your post anyway. Haven't heard "honkin' big" in a real long time.

P.S. Chicken, maybe he means that it's big out the back, old school.

Does anybody know if TV bought in KOREAN can work in Europe ?

I heard that it is not possible (I don't know the reason) but I want your idea.

Regards

There are two mutually incompatible colour encoding systems out there; NTSC and PAL. Korea's on NTSC; if I'm not mistaken most European countries use PAL.

Sorry don't know the year or model number but it's a Daewoo with a lot of good tube watching still on it. If you are trying to find the market value, I'm sure that it is no longer sold. If you are weighing out the merits of this TV versus the one you saw on the street last spring, this one is known to be in working condition, and is not possibly vomit-stained or pissed on. That is what your 70 large buys you.

And to the other commenters, who put such HELPFUL and WITTY commentary, well, your life is your own punishment. I know better than to ask if you haven't anything better to do.

"Abuse" is part and parcel of doing business on this forum.
I doubt it will ever go away, nor would I want it to, because the occasions when the 'trolls' are out of line and being deliberately ignorant are usually outweighed by the times when they save a newbie from blowing hard earned Won on obsolete technology.

If the sellers were to ask reasonable prices, there would be no need for them, most of the garbage on this forum should be given to goodwill.
