So each call averages two minutes? How's the pay? What is so bad about it?

I hate the phone as it is. Getting called 25 times an hour by random Koreans would put me right over the edge.

Unless I was making a SHITLOAD of money. And I doubt people are getting rich from those gigs.

Yikes! I'm pretty easy-going, but I'd dig my heels in on this.

I had to do it at my old hogwan. It sucked. "So, what did you learn today?" "How old are you?" What color is the sky?" "What is your favorite sport?"

I tried to get out of it, but the parents really liked it. My advice is maybe do a crap job, if you are sure they won't fire you.

I also had to do that. I hated it but the kids and the parents loved it. I tried to do a crap job, but the parents started complaining and in turn my director would complain to me. I told them many times I didn't want to do it, but I was never able to get out of it. Mad

I did it at my first hogwan. Total waste of MY time. No one should ever agree to do it.

I don't mind doing it every couple of months. It requires listening skills on the part of the callee. In the end though, phone teaching is phone leeching.
