Good thing all of those soldiers are busy going around surging in Baghdad so Osama can have the time to make a new tape. |

Translation of Funeral Article in Egyptian Paper:
al-Wafd, Wednesday, December 26, 2001 Vol 15 No 4633
News of Bin Laden's Death
and Funeral 10 days ago
Islamabad -
A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa'da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death. The official, who asked to remain anonymous, stated to The Observer of Pakistan that he had himself attended the funeral of bin Laden and saw his face prior to burial in Tora Bora 10 days ago. He mentioned that 30 of al-Qa'da fighters attended the burial as well as members of his family and some friends from the Taleban. In the farewell ceremony to his final rest guns were fired in the air. The official stated that it is difficult to pinpoint the burial location of bin Laden because according to the Wahhabi tradition no mark is left by the grave. He stressed that it is unlikely that the American forces would ever uncover any traces of bin Laden. |

Frankly, I see no purpose really served in the publication of cartoons, but I definitely feel more work needs to be done in Europe to integrate more of the Muslims there, not there aren't many who are doing so, but there needs to be a better job done in that area. However, the cartoons only inflame people. Christians and Jews wouldn't want Moses depicted in a bad way, and would complain severely. There are more Muslims, as people who come from third world countries, would react more harshly.
As far as Al Qaeda, there time is finishing not because the US has led some major war, but because the Arabs themselves became fed up with them, they were causing security problems, becoming a serious source of embarassment, so the security personnel were hunting them down. The locals don't like Al Qaeda they kill too many innocents. In Iraq, the Sunni tribesmen were tired of Al Qaeda and were more than happy to hunt Al Qaeda down. Al Qaeda is looking for things to exploit for Islamic causes and these cartoonists shouldn't help Al Qaeda look for causes.
If there was something very positive served by publishing the cartoons, I say go for it, knock yourself out. |

Frankly what i find most TELLING is how the establishment media has various esteemed commentators & pundits droning on & on,
never ONCE raising the possibilty that 1) the tapes are FAKED, and 2) BIN LADEN IS DEAD.
