Answer the following questions as honestly as your pervert little heart can endure:

1. Do you have a girlfriend in Korea?
2. Did you like school?
3. Do you have unresolved issues with your parent(s)?
4. Do you believe that you'll discover yourself in Korea?
5. Do you constantly think that things will get better?

Don't look, spoilers below:

Give yourself 1 point if your answer is:
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. No.
4. No, what?
5. No, sometimes, whatever...

If you have 3 points then you should stay in Korea for one year.
4 or more points then do whatever, I don't need to tell you.
2 or less...you'll hate Korea and probably everywhere else you go.

I actually love Korea so much that my friends and I made a music video about Korea. And no it is not of crappy quality but I think most of you here in Korea will relate...take three minutes and check it out. Thanks again. And much love to Korea for all the inspiration.

I have a total man-crush now.

"Kimchi, Kimchi, it is good for you and me."

You need to send this video to the Geumchon tourist bureau. Seriously.

I don't agree with this survey and its supposed implications. Perhaps if the title were: "Are you happy in Korea?" rather than "Do you love Korea?" All this survey does is try to point out factors/conditions that happy people may often have in common. Good relations with parents, a significant other, a history of happiness (enjoyed school) already knowing yourself...I mean, yeah, people like that have a better chance of being happy no matter where they are. So what? It has nothing to do with Korea and one can dislike the place where they are and still be happy. I am happy here, but it has little to do with how I feel about Korea. I like my family and my free-time. I don't dislike my job. The OP ends his little test with this statement, "you'll hate Korea and probably everywhere else you go." I guess the opposite is likely true as well, that if you score many points on this survey, you love every place. Extrapolating from there, happy people love everything and unhappy people don't love anything. I don't think so. I scored a 4 on this test. I am happy here, but I wouldn't say I love Korea.

That video is great! I showed it to some of my Korean friends, and as predicted they found it hard to see the funny side. Don't know why they gotta be so sensitive. If you can't laugh at that video, somthings wrong.

Just saw the vid. Very well done indeed. I liked the "cabbage that we ravage with the chili-taste paste" line.

Hilarious. You've condensed my experience of Korea into a three minute music video. This is what I want to see when my life flashes before my eyes, it'll be so worth dying for!

It's impossible for me to predict without having a basis for that prediction.

More valid questions might be:

1. Do you study the Korean language?
2. Are you interested in Korean culture?
3. Do you enjoy the age group which you teach?

I have zero points.. but that's probably just the way you phrased your questions.

1. I have a husband, not a girlfriend. Should I give myself a point?

2. Did I like school? Well, that depends on what *school* is. Secondary school? Not really. University? Yup. Loved it.

3. Well, no unresolved issues with parents, ever. So no.

4. Discover myself in Korea. Nope. Done that a long time ago, before coming here.

5. Do you constantly think that things will get better? No constantly, but once in a while.

So.. I could give myself 1 point for q.1, 1/2 point for q. 2 and 5, and nothing for 3 and 4, I guess. So that's 2.

I've been here for 7+ years. I don't think I hate it here or else I would have left already.

I think you misunderstood. For Questions 3 and 4 he said to give yourself a point for answering "no," which you did.
