How about a poll to ban all polls asking whether it is a good idea to ban polls?

Maybe we should have a poll first.

What about it. I know I would leave for real if that happened.

If you don't like it then don't read or post in it. |

This has got to be one of the simplest opinions ever.

I never said that I wanted the Off-Topics Forum canned, rather I was playing the devils advocate and put the question out there for debate.

I, personally, post on this forum all the time, thus, I obviouly have no problem with it.

Likewise I am not against polls.

What I am "for" is more specific definitions of what is or is not frivolous or redundant.

Thank you. |

You won't get one. You'll have to trust the mods. They usually do a good job. Though I think Harpaeu was wrong to pull the favourite color thread.

As I've said before, the process is pretty democratic. If no one is interested in a thread it slips down the page. Plus, all the threads with a new posting in have a sign beside them, so where is the real inconvenience if there is a thread, or even a lot of threads that you personally find irrelevant? Just don't open them. |

				Absolutely not!!!

It starts with Poles, then Hungarians, then Austrians, then ... oh, polls, never mind. |

				| definantly, the off-topic forum is the best one on here. You know if you pulled it then people would still post things that aren't appropriate in other forums anyway. |
