Here's an add I found for a position in Jeju.

Hi, I'm XXXXX from XXXXXXXXXX, an ESL consulting firm specializing in finding teaching positions for foreigners on Jeju, Korea's largest island and #1 tourist destination.

With its temperate Mediterranean climate, Jeju's picturesque beaches and mountainous terrain provide a healthy blah blah blah blah blah, Jeju is the place for you.

**WHY JEJU? SUMMARIZED**
_ Temperate climate
- Gorgeous beaches
- Halla Mountain
- Fresh air/no pollution
- Close foreigner community
- Active lifestyle
- PALM TREES!
*************************

Palm trees.

And since when was Jeju in the Mediterranean?

That avatar is amazing. I know of that artist. His mind is like a flamboyant psychadelic wet dream on LSD.

A mediteranean climate, refers to weather that is similar or akin to that of the Mediteranean region........ anyone who took a 10th grade geography class and didnt smoke dope every day should remember that! Than again, im a geography buff. Other places on earth that resemble "mediteranean climate" are Uruguay/Argentina in the Rio de La Plata region, New Zealand, part of the west coast of the US, and parts of africa, just to name a few.

Thought this would help educate some people Laughing

No parts of New Zealand have a Mediterranean climate nor does the Rio de La Plata region, however some southern and western parts of Australia and parts of Chile do.

Lived in Argentina/Uruguay for over a year my friend! Maybe not officially mediteranean, but good enough for me. Love the humidity!

Yes Palm trees.

We have palm trees in Masan too!

The climate of Jejudo resembles the climate of maybe Jacksonville FL or
maybe Brunswick GA.

It is far from anything like a resort.

The beaches remind me more of north shore Massachussetts, Revere
beach would be a good example but the water was relatively warm.

The Umbrella Ajumma will soak you for 40,000w bring a tent for shade
or your own umbrella.

But, yes, my point is they do have palm trees.
