I can get both low fat and fat free milk at my local mart. The cartons are both in English too. However, I live in Gangnam so it might be a bit exceptional.

You can find low-fat and fat-free pretty easily at the bigger supermarkets. On the label,
무지방= non-fat
저지방= low-fat

I live out in the countryside somewhat and I can usually get lowfat milk at a couple of the local ma n pa type stores. The nearest bigger market also has skim (just found out two nights ago heh). Of course, Homeplus/Emart will have it as well.

In other words, you don't really want to buy milk.

1%? C'mon, get serious. Even 2% is pushin' it.

Have a little milk with your water. Ugh.

I don't know the percentage but I grew up on skim-2% and I found the best tasting milk to be ESL and I get it right down at 7-11. I don't know why but Busan Milk and Seoul Milk and the couple others I tried just taste weird to me.

Why do people who like whole milk always feel they gotta hate on people who like skim-2%? Do we threaten you in some way? haha

Cause StevemcG is a douchebag, mostly. Do a quick perusal of his posts if you don't believe me.

Scotticus waxed poetic:

And in keeping with the metaphor-du-jour, that would make you the girlie just off the rag who needs one, eh?

2% is o.k. At least is still tastes like milk. Why do you prefer ESL? It's more expensive where I live even though there's an ESL bottling plant just down the road.

When people talk about drinking skim or 1% it reminds me of people who say they enjoy steak, but only if it's well done.

I don't really know why, it just tastes better in my opinion. More like the stuff I grew up drinking. The others just have an odd flavor I can't put a name to but several of my coworkers say the same thing, so I don't think its just me. Could be anything from what the cows are fed to the process itself.

I never compared prices, I just know it cost 1950 for a liter carton at my local 7-11. haha

As for the skim comments I didn't take it too personally, I was more amused. Reminds me of when me and best friend argue about Helmans vs. Miracle Whip.
