So...

Anyone else notice that this forum has become a better read than the rest of the board recently? Or is it just me?

I haven't had to bust out the Kool-Aid Man in a while...

Possibly it's attributable to the attention of a couple of new Mods, for which I am truly grateful. Very Happy

Not that the old ones were doing a BAD job...it's just that this place is such a daycare sometimes that it requires a lot of attention.

You can only say based on the facts that there is more of an active mod role, many of the CE members are aware of it and participated in the debate about civility, the various polls, a few posters are testing the guidelines and have been warned about their prejudicial posts, and one poster has alerted mods when it comes to abusive posters or a violation of the guidelines, but more need to do that.

Is the forum more civil? It is too premature to say that is a fact, but several posters are trying, so I would say yes since there is an effort.

The mods are not trying to give the impression that this board has its good points and its moments.

Also, there seem to have been a little more female posts than usual, though still it's not much.

All I know is that until the mods get some sense and boot the twats in the other forums, I'm going to stick to reading this one because it's the only one that doesn't sicken me.

And yes, I can't believe I'm wrote that either.

Which isn't me telling you how to do your jobs by the way. Feel free to leave the place twated up all you want.

Interesting. Could you provide some examples of (or links to) all this alleged twattery? I'm in the mood for twattering some twats.

Well, so far the only one that seems to not have been pulled is the "New Breed" thread in the OT forum.

There was that douchebag the other day going on for two pages about his avatar, but that's gone too.

I doubt if that would make much of a difference...you get two women fighting on another thread and it's like a catfight...
