Immigration posted a new announcement on their home page about the E-2. It appears to offer some further modifications to the regulations, but I'm not confident enough in my Korean ability (or Google Translate) to say exactly what.

Any of you Korean wizards care to take a stab at it?

Here's a crazy thought that I just KNOW defies all Korean logic...

If you're gonna post new rules and regulations specifically targeted at a group of people you want in your country but who don't speak the language DON'T POST THE F*&#ING THING IN KOREAN!!!

And I'm sorry but this kinda supports the cultural dominance theory many (I want to say most but won't) Westerners believe many (again I refrain from saying most) Koreans hold.

Maybe they don't want people to know that they are no longer doing drug tests. Better to keep that hush, hush.
As for the docs stuff, yeah, I imagine it's better to notify people, putting stuff on the E2 visa section in the Justice website. The Justice Dept. website is rarely updated and takes a long time for any new news (in English) to get put on there ... Also, this kind of information does get deciminated (is that the right word?) quite quickly throughout the 'foreigner' community...
Not sure about the cultural dominance theory. I 'spose it works that way in any country. I know many foreigners in NZ who can't find out information so hire Immi consultants to do it. The vast amount of processes are a shocker and yet info on their website is not written into any different languages overnight.

So does this mean that I, who submitted a CRC 18 months ago for my P.S. job, would have to submit another one if I changed jobs?
