I hate just about everyone running, but I will admit that it's a hoot watching Hillary and her gang of people who have been kissing her "self-entitled" butt for the past several years as they scurry about trying to figure out what to do with Obama. Suddenly they are realizing that their dream of another Clinton presidency is a lot less likely without voters backing the plan. I bet they never expected this! If she doesn't win, they'd be waiting a minimum of 8 years for payback. Now things are getting nasty, because getting nasty is all she's got left.

I can't wait to see the mess when Obama wins the popular vote, and Hillary gets just enough "superdelegates" to turn the tide.

Not to mention seeing feminism pitted against the race issue. It's like watching a clash of the titans.

Fun!

Thanks for posting this. I wish I could get up there, but I live down in Gwangju. It's great to see a DA getting started in Korea though.

OK, I tried finding directions to the meeting, but failed. The address provided takes me to homepage, so I searched that and finally found the exact same information as posted here. It included the link for directions that took me back to the homepage.

SO HOW ABOUT SOME DIRECTIONS!

you might just forward a note to Nancy Pelosi and let her know that little back-stabbing stunt she pulled regarding "taking impeachment off the table" lost my vote FOREVER as a Democrat.

To wit I no longer will vote as a registered Democrat. I will register as an Indepenent upon returning to the U.S. Yes, sometimes I might vote for a Democrat but no longer will consider myself a member of the Democratic Party.

Further, I do believe the two-party system as it currently exists will be the deathblow to the Republic.

The Democrats may be the lesser of two evils, but they are still evil.

Impeach the Bastard - and his cohorts. Quit piddling about with the taxpayers, for goodess sakes, people are dying already! Evil or Very Mad

End the War! Bring the troops home, NOW!

Sure I would love to forward a note to Ms. Pelosi...
Sounds like you might be having a private physchological relationship with her anyway... you know all the synapsed cliches: of being stabbed in the back.... Deathblow to the republic, lesser of two evils ,but still evil
My God this reads like the throw away dialouge to a later Star Wars travesty.. And is that your picture on the upper left hand side...

Perhaps Ms. Pelosi isn't quite your type of genderbender after all.

Remember about the internet... when everybody is somebody then nobody is anybody.

Interested in a real somebody... Listen to Obama lay it on the line with race and religion.... embed in prevous post.

Cu Sunday

written like a true bureaucrat Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

so tell us is Goldman Sachs still Obama's biggest contributor?

fyi, they are one of the most respected brokerage houses on Wall Street - which also means one of the most conservative - hardly much of a change from the present admin.

Obama is nobody's fool - he'll dip his hand in the till and take whatever he can just like the other dirty politicos before him....no different whatsoever.

and as for your oh so arrogant critique of my writing - get over yourself all ready - this IS an internet forum for goodness sakes - who gives a hoot if I use cliches or not - at least I understand how to use them - do you?

uh, let me clarify that since perhaps it might be over your head - the Democratic Party is one piss-poor tired cliche - there - that clear enough for ya? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

WHERE DOES OBAMA GET HIS MONEY FROM?
--From the International Herald Tribune...
--And verified by MoveOn.org (Who endorses Obama)
But not quite included yet in prisonplanet.ape OR spoonbendersanonymous.myspace

WASHINGTON: Democrat Barack Obama, who has decried Wall Street profits and exorbitant pay for business executives, has tapped a vein of donors among bankers and financiers who have given generously and helped drive his successful presidential campaign sprint for cash.

Among firms whose employees gave the most to Obama in the second quarter of the year were Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and JP Morgan. Their money, much of it the maximum donations allowed by law, placed Obama in competition with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for high-finance dollars in her own backyard of New York.

The campaign reported that the figure included at least $23.5 million that he can spend on the highly competitive primary race. The Clinton campaign has yet to disclose how much they can use for the primary verses money that is designated for the general election.

While Clinton has honed a vast national fundraising network through two Senate campaigns and her husbands eight years as president, Obama launched his bid for the White House with a relatively small donor base concentrated largely in Illinois, his home state.

But his early opposition to the Iraq war and voter excitement over his quest to be the first black president quickly fueled a powerful fundraising machine.

More than half the donors contributed a total of $6.9 million through the Internet, the campaign said.

So far this year, Obama has collected $16.4 million (11.9 million) in donations under $200 (145) that is 29 percent of his total primary election contributions of $56.8 million (41.2 million). The small donations have come in through the Internet, in the mail and from people attending rallies in cities across the country.

But as he builds up his grass roots, Obama is hardly ignoring big donors. Nearly 40 percent of his total fundraising has come from donors who have given the maximum $2,300 (1,670) for the primary.

The money comes even though Obama's statements have not always been kind to Wall Street. He has suggested taxing anticipated future profits of some financial managers at income-tax rates of up to 35 percent instead of the current 15 percent, the rate for capital gains. It is a view embraced by other Democratic candidates as well, including Clinton.b]"Folks who support him at all economic levels know exactly what kind of president he will be," Burton said. "They are drawn to him because they are attracted to the way he is going to change Washington."[/b]

So it seems that Obama took corporate donations not to get run over by the Clinton finance Machine. He will take as little as necessary in the presidential campaign. Oh, and the Sum of ALL Goldman Sachs employees contribution has been 561.000 (thousand)

That's probaly what it would cost you to get you geared up like that cool thing in the upper left corner of your world here^^ Of course you could just buy a simple white t-shirt with red and blue letters that read OBAMA... Idea ON SECOND THOUGHT IF YOU COME UP WITH THE DOE FOR THAT FANTASY RIG YOU GOT GOING UP THERE AND THEN DECIDE TO GO TO GOLDMAN SACHS FOR AN INTERVEIW... THEN YO COUNT ME... HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE!!!

And Yes politics still cost money... It's kind of like when Chewbacci got attacked by Darth who was really the prince's father but before you cut away to commercial they had to rasie money because the death star was omnipotent and you didn't have one so you went to commercial break and got some because even if you have THE FORCE LIGHT SABERS STILL COST MONEY Wink
