Hi all,
my mother wants to spend a few days in Seoul on her way out of Korea. Can anyone recommend an interesting and safe area she could stay. Also, could you recommend a nice hotel.
thank you |

It's a reasonable and clean place. Free computers in the lobby. Some of the staff speak English. It's right in Myongdong, so lots to do in the area (and very close to the subway). My parents loved it.
Say hi to "Sky", the room manager. She's a friend. |

Try hotel.co.kr. The Web site has service in English and you can get a good deal. |

Couple of weeks ago I had my mom stay at "Fraser Place". 5 minute walk from Seoul Station. UNBELIEVABLE place. We had a two bedroom, two bath place for $150/night. They have smaller available. BUT, I think you need to go through a Korean website to get the better price. Quite sure all the English prices are twice as much.
So, only helpful if you have a Korean friend/spouse to help you out |
