I'm curious what all the complaining is really about. I have people email me pretty regularly asking about Korea. I'm pretty middle-of-the-road about Korea. I don't hate it and I don't love it.
Don't Worry, I want to do a Best things about Korea as well. If you want to post some links to similar threads here, please do. I can't get the search to work.
I'd also like to add more options to a later poll so feel free to mention specific complaints. |

Absolutely nothing on your list applies to me, except sometimes the food, and that's only because I'm too lazy to cook.
For me by far the most annoying thing is Koreans making such a big deal over my foreignness. |

I should have added a stranger in a strange land option. Employers breaking contracts is too vague as well but Dave's only allows so many poll options. |

To me it's the waygukin complainers.....and sometimes Korean (or other nationality) complainers......like it's going to change anything,.....so then.....yeah: complainers. |

Very true. People in Seoul don't realize how different it is a couple hours outside of it. However, I just learned 뭘봐!, so at least I have something to say when guys are staring at my junk. |

I doubt it's 'people in Seoul' so much as squeamish hagwon teachers in Seoul who have no Korean friends and don't know any better.
And it's not so much being a stranger in a strange land as being seen as a strange guy in a familiar land. |

Great post. Glad to participate. Others opinions are always interesting, even if they annoy me. To quote from a great song by Suicidal Tendencies, "You can't bring me down". Go to you tube and listen to the uncensored version. You'll crack up. |

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, none of the above.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, all of the above.
Sunday, the bible thumpers who have nothing better to do than annoy the local foreigner. |

For me its the people who complain about the waygukin complainers, followed closely by people who complain about the people who complain about the waygukin complainers. And kim chi. I hate kim chi. |

I would add the idiotic new E-2 visa regs to your list. That would be #1
with me and I don't even have a criminal record. |

No, not really. Just stating a fairly accurate assessment. |
