Two points: First, Hillary is not Bill. This should be obvious enough, but the media sells them as a couple and most people have bought into it.

Just a slight correction, they sell themselves as a couple and "two for one". This was said not only in the 1992 campaign, but this one.

Shame on you, Kuros. You scold others for the same nonsense. The difference between "I entered under sniper fire" and "Well, I actually was warmly welcomed by children" is much larger than "I was a law professor" and "Had I published I would have been a law professor."

C'mon, man. I know you're rebelling against the Clinton hate-fest, but I expected more from you.

Politicians embellish. Hillary's embellishment happened to be a whale. Yes, she handled it poorly.

Yeah, that's a pretty dumb thing. The Obama hate-fest continues.

Such an immense act of contrition. Leading off with "so" is the give away. Like Slick Willy, what hurts them most is getting caught, not that they did it. They both are so power-hungry they can't see straight, much less talk straight.

As I predicted months ago, she would stoop lower and lower to get what she's after. But if she's not careful, she might also be sinking her chances of ever again being a viable candidate for this high office.

It's almost like a Shakespearian tragedy minus the eloquence.

But what I find audacious are her constant comparisons to Eleanor Roosevelt, a class act on all accounts that Hillary can't hold a candle to.

Time to retire Bill and Hill and take your butt buddies Ferraro and Carville with you to Martha's Vineyard with the rest of the la de dah libs of yore.

With the wisdom of age, I always knew that I'd end up agreeing with "ALL CAPS" McGarrett about something.

And here's our future commander-in-chief herself, displaying her testosterone and gettin' ready to whack the opponents of American exceptionalism and foreign policy with her own "take that, you jihadist scum" 'tude.

My apologies in advance if I've mis-characterized your political analysis, STEVEMCGARRETT. Very Happy Laughing Very Happy

Being a lover of the English language, your line that I liked the best was this one:

"It's almost like a Shakespearian tragedy minus the eloquence. "

stop further ensvoncing the ruling class.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I am a lover of the English language. So, when I came across a word, "ensvoncing" that I've never even glimpsed before, I trotted over to dictionary.com to have them enlighten me as to its meaning. Alas, they could not do so.

Dat's Hawaiin pidgin for "spamming," as in looking for Spam in the can.

But seriously, cut Mister Masan some slack; after all, he's a Univ. of Hawaii grad. Ya know, the school in Manoa Valley wid da Journalism Department that might lose its accreditation, bruddah?

I've made this observation before (and I have been vilified for it), but why are the posters who have numbers after their usernames almost always screwy?

There's plenty of posters without the numerals that also fall into that category, but my observation seems to hold some water.

All bluster, no substance, huh Stevie?

Just the usual. I'm sorry to distract you from the culture war by not jumping on the 'lets-bash-Hillary' bandwagon.
