I really don't usually care what pictures people use for their avatars. But I like to read Dave's at work and there are always kids leaping all over the office trying to see what the foreigner is looking at on the computer. The principal and the teachers all also seem to walk a little slower as they pass my desk. I imagine most of you are in the same situation as me. So could we please keep the pics clean?

Feel free to PM a moderator, and ask him/her to "warn" me or whatever it is they do.

I've seen much more over the top things.

I believe you can disable avatars on this site.


Beyond that, piercings are a part of this life. If you consider that xxx, you may want to limit your surfing to home....as suggested above.

It's strange the things that people complain about on this site. The word "shit" and piercing pictures, but no problem with discussions about Korean genitals, or usernames with Korean swears in them, which might actually bother a Korean.

I'm not the slightest bit offended by the picture. I actually quite like nipples. I just don't want to read Dave's without wondering if the person standing behind me is looking at the pictures.

Where is the option to remove avatars? I looked on the settings page, but I only saw the option allowing someone to display their own avatar.

Maybe this is something which should be moderated, by the MODS.
Perhaps there is a way to remove or stop avatars unsuitable for the teaching profession.
Should us teachers, as we glean advice and try to assist other fellow teachers, have large unwholesome images appearing as we scroll through posts?
