Hagwon-ga in Pyeongchon - "the highest concentration of hagwons in Korea"

Just curious how many people on here teach on my street. I'm not the type to start conversations with strangers walking down the street just because neither of us are Korean, but I also think it's a little odd seeing the same people every day and not getting a chance to actually talk.

I live near Hagwon-ga, but I'm a public school teacher on the other side of Anyangsi. I see a lot of teachers there, as I visit the place for Gumdo class. I try sometimes to talk to the random westerner that I see around. Tho, sometimes I am in a hurry or they are, so I try to smile.

Gumdo is a sword martial art. We use the bamboo sword and the same armor as the Japanese Kendo. Hagwon-ga has at least two Gumdo schools that I have seen. I enjoy my school. While the teacher doesn't speak English, he is very patient with me, relying on demonstration more than explanation. I have a korean friend now in class and it is fun smacking the crap out of each other with the practice swords.

I get out of work at 9:30, so if anyone wants to get a beer after work sometime let me know. I like having local drinking buddies.
