My girlfriend saw this little guy getting chased around the streets be a bunch of children yesterday. We brought him home and cleaned him up. He is not accustomed to life on the streets, like some of the other former pets around here. He is very shy, he has only barked at our cats, and he seems very well trained (I don't speak Korean so I don't know the commands).

He is still a puppy and I am guessing he will become a medium sized dog. We can't keep him. If we can't find a home for him in the next few weeks we will have to drop him off at a Korean shelter.

Please some one adopt or foster this little guy. We can split any vet bills for the first two months, including sterilizing.

pictures are before his bath. Now he doesn't have mud on his right side!

He looks so cute! And his ears are quite interesting.
What is that with his nose though? It looks like it is missing some fur there. Was it shaved?

You might also want to try posting on the website: www.animalrescuekorea.org

There are forums on the site that are there specifically to post ads for dogs (or cats, or other pets).

It was really nice of you to take him in. I wish both you and him luck in finding a great home.
Smile

Good job in taking him off the streets to try to find a home. He is a cute little guy. He appears to possibly have some jindo in him based upon the head and ears (although they haven't stood up Laughing ). As far as the spot on the nose goes, it could maybe just be a pigment issue (nothing to worry about). Good luck finding him a good home!

Yeah his nose is odd. My owner thinks it is what got him tossed out. She thinks it may be a scar, or something. I honestly don't know. He has some white fur hair growing on it, and it is not tender to the touch or showing any signs (that i know of) of an infection. When we took him to our vet, the vet refused to see him. I don't know why... but we are looking for a new vet now.

That is a bit odd, and makes me wonder why a vet would refuse a paying customer trying to help a homeless dog. "Sparkling Korea" once again.

Why on earth would a vet refuse to see a dog???

Some disease that might spread easily to other animals?

i have no idea why the vet would not check the dog out..... we were very clear and he spoke English....it made us a little mad to say the least.....

as for the pink on his nose i think it is "dudley's nose" ( a pigment issue) which is not a health issue at all.... his teeth gums ears paws and everything else is very healthy we just have to find this guy a home becuase our cats are none too happy with us right about now Smile

hey. if you have problems finding a vet, let me know. I work with 3 vets here in Seoul that we do a lot of foster/rescue work with. Also, there are a couple in Daejeon, Daegu, and Gumi that I can recommend to you if you are that way.

Yeah I should have mentioned my location. We are in Chang an Dong between Busan and Jinhae. We will travel anywhere any how to get this guy to a new home.

He has started to come out of his shell and act more like a puppy. He has not chewed on one thing (except the cats toys) and he has not had an accident once inside the apt.

PLEASE someone, if we can't get him a home in a few weeks we will send him to the shelter. I think it would be better to get him to the shelter while he is still a puppy... better chance of an adoption. We really don't wanna see this guy go to another crap K-home, or get put down cause nobody took him in a week!

Please post him on seoul.craigslist.org! He looks like a great guy. It brings a tear to my eye to think he might go to a shelter. I wish my apartment weren't so small.

Someone, please adopt this little guy.
