I sent back some cash on the 20th of March and it still has not arrived in my account back home. That is 9 days. My question is whether this is abnormally long? I have sent money a few other times and I don't think it took this long.

How should I proceed if it isn't there soon?

That's weird. I would go to the bank tomorrow and see what's up. Everytime I've done a transfer, it's shown within hours and been processed within 24.

It has gone somewhere it wasn't supposed to.

Track it down.

24-48 hours from transfer to credit is usual on a if you sent it Tues-Friday. You can add up to 24 more hours if you send it on a Monday because we are ahead of everyone else in time (unless your bank is in Guam).

I have my receipt. I am just wondering how this is all going to go down. I will tell them that the money did not arrive in my bank account in Canada (Scotiabank) and then I suppose it is up to my bank here (Daegu Bank) to make sure that I am right? This could take some time I am thinking.

All this happens, of course, after I post on here that I have never had any sort of problems with my banking. What the hell?

9 days is a long time...it usually arrives within 24 hours...did you quote your bank's SWIFT?

I used the same form I used the first time I transferred cash and it worked out fine the last three times. For whatever reason this one is being held up...or is in another person's account.
