Hi all,
Just been informed by my adult class that April 9th is a public holiday because of the general elections.
Forgot to ask before I left and can't bear the suspense until Monday. Anyone in the know???

Public schools will be closed and teachers have the day off.
Hakwons - depends on your hakwon. Most but not all will be closed. |

I was told this week by my co-teacher, all public schools will be closed on April 9th. It's nice to hear that! |

Damn straight on that! I'm already registered to vote!
WooHoo! The look on the local's faces is priceless when they see me drop the ballot in!

I also have an F-5. I've been dreaming of seeing that look ever since I got it. Where did you go to get that done? City hall? |

Walk into the polling staion dressed like Kim Jon-Il wearing a Kim jong-il mask, and carrying a "Vote #1" sign. |

Funny thought...but I don't want to get shot. However, I'll probably cause a scene if some old geezer attempts to prevent me from entering the polling station. |
