going to korea this week. what do i need to wear to work. i was wondering if i should bring my suit, will i need it, or is trousers and shirt with tie not good enough? |

It depends on where you are working. Some places will require a suit and tie, others, such as where I work, are very casual. You are best to ask the school. |

It all depends on what your employer wants, they'll usually tell you when you arrive. Some places allow you to wear jeans and a t-shirt, others require dress pants, dress shirt, and a tie.
You should bring your suit along just in case. Most Korean men wear a suit to work everyday. |

I came out with a few shirts, couple of ties, couple of smart sweaters, few pairs of smart trousers, and one smart suit (for school ceremonies etc). You should be fine with that.
Watch out for the summer, because the humidity is a real dignity loser when you have sweat patches on your shirt. I remedy this by wearing a jumper over the top. I might be hot but at least I have my dignity. |
