Hi everyone,
This may seem like a silly question, but am I allowed to work in another country while on an E2 VISA in Korea? I have over 5 months vacation and would like to do a camp in China or the like; any experiences to share? |

You can do it. First, Korea won't even know if you are just traveling or working. Once you are out of the country, you can do anything you want. You are only restricted from working another job without permission in Korea. |

Outside the country you are free to do what you want.
The E2 restrictions only apply to "activities during your sojourn" (stay) in Korea. |

Actually, at the airport, you might notice a shady Korean following you on the plane. If the same person is at the next airport, watching you and then quickly ducking behind a newspaper, then you know you're in trouble. If you can lose him in the taxi, then you're set. But if he manages to keep following you, I'd advise against working in the other country!! |
