I am a singer. I was accepted into Canada's top singing school when I was a kid. I didn't go but I still possess a great, untrained voice. I'm looking for musicians to jam. I want to play gigs in korea.

INFLUENCES
Guns n roses
Alice in chains
bob marley
rage ATM
beatles
john denver
mli from mli vanili (bad joke)
bob dylan

and on and on

I enjoy singing anything I'm good at singing. I cross all music genres.

Are you a boy or a girl?

Decent guitarist here, but I probably live too far away to practice much.

Interesting. Well I live a ways north of Seoul but if you get a few guys that want to jam sometime I could down for a weekend or whatever. Too far to make Itaewon on weekdays though.

My disclaimer for the "decent:" I can probably learn anything guitar wise as long as it's not insane, but I'm not incredible; hard stuff takes me a while. Also, my natural rhythm isn't the greatest so I need a drummer or rhythm guitarist to keep me rock solid. Can play acoustic, electric and even bass in a pinch though.

i was thinking a little unplugged. I think if you can commit to a weekend a month or every 2 months - others would jump aboard. I'm not really concerned about finding Clapton.. just looking to have a good time jamming some people

what do you think?

I can howl like a drunken coyote or wolf.

Seriously, you should contact the Brit named John Redmond, Editor of the Korea Times newspaper. He has several contacts in the ex-pat music scene here. He's a smart and friendly guy, too.

Call the Korea Times and ask the chick who answers the phone to connect you to Redmond, eh.

I don't know about promises just yet, but I don't see any problems with a weekend a month.

Does anybody else think this is a metaphor for... well, you know... "unplugged", "I can put you up", "Howl like a drunken coyote", ".just looking to have a good time jamming some people "..? Shocked If so, count me in!

i think we won't have a problem getting korean musicians to play with us. Just have to think how to locate them.

A jam "once a month" is a lot different than trying to form a band. I'd be in for a jam or two in my final few months here (I play guitar, mostly rhythm, can play bass, drums, and sing somewhat). I dig the acoustic jam idea - now that spring is here, why not arrange a weekend jam & picnic in a park somewhere?
