I've read loads about this place and everywhere (Korea Times included) said that the barstaff wear hotpants and squirt each other with water pistols. I went in on Friday and it was a total lie!

I was gutted, but wondered if we left too early/ the hotpants were in the laundry or something. Has anyone else been there?

Yep - I've never seen the water pistols, but have seen the cute little waiter wearing his lil apron, or wandering round in his wee g-string. The chicks are half-naked too.

Next time take your own water pistol.

What time did you arrive? Maybe they strip off later on, when theres not much sobriety going on.

I don't know. You meet some dirty women in that place though, who cares about water pistols? I met a couple of really full-on chicks in that place. Maybe it was just a lucky night.

It sounds good, I'm there.

About six months ago, they did wear hotpants, and sometimes nearly naked.. the guy always wore an apron and bare bottom exposed.. and the women would sometimes wear g-string bikinis and the apron.. then they moved it to wearing those bright orange hotpants.

Now however, they seem to dress with a lot more clothes. I don't know why.. but the last 3-4 times they seemed to have discarded the nearly nude image of the past.

Maybe I'm the wrong guy to ask since I thought I was there, poked around for a bit and nothing much was really happening. I suppose I could've been in the wrong area entirely.

Sure. If you are at Route 66 area in HongDae.. just walk towards the direction of McDonalds going towards what would be the Shinchon direction. You'll feel like you are walking away from any bars (it seems to have a darker feel on the street there) and then suddenly its right there.. on the left side of the road.

Umm, you've got some really strange slang for parts of a woman's body. I'm from Michigan too but I still can't understand what you're talking about. Wink
