I finally found the 1,517,00 won I sent from Daegu Bank to Scotiabank in Canada. Of course by this time it was a mere 1,375,000. Not a big deal; just the equivalent of my monthly bills.

Apparently my bank in Canada would not accept the money I sent for what ever reason. I will find out tonight when I phone them. On the way back, I was informed by Daegu bank, a fee was taken by TD bank ($40) and was deposited back into my account here. Apparently no one has made a mistake even though I have sent money exactly by this method 4 times.

It is a wonderful experience dealing with these vultures. It is nice spending my free time waiting to have the free hands of two different institutions rammed up my rectum. I love how they don't call to tell me that there is a problem but, that if I miss a payment they are all over me like a fat kid on a chocolate bar.

I will never gloat about not having banking problems again. Although I will say the counter lady at Daegu Bank was courteous.

In other news, I saw two rats on my walk, from the bank to work, on top of a sewer grate that looking as if someone had thrown gas on them and bbq'd them. Quite disgusting.
