I've got an expensive pair of headphones that are having some problems. The sound out of the left channel keeps cutting out and I've been told that something has come loose in the plug and I need to solder on a new one.

Normally back home I'd either be able to do this myself or get it done very cheap but I have no clue what to do or where to go here.

Anyone have any helpful advice?
