Anyone heard anything good or bad about New School's online MA in TESOL?

I would not get a degree at a place called "New School." Even if it's legit and recognized, I would be embarrassed...

I know you shouldn't judge a book solely by its cover, but this is great:

The New School is a NYC graduate school. It's well established.

30 credits needed for their MA-TESOL. $1076 per credit. I'd expect a highly superior program the New School. It's a very reputable school. People can say what they will about the name. Here's the history of NS.

The School of Design (Parsons) is the Harvard of graphic design in America.

He'll be offended and say "OH, so you're my master now, huh?"

According to their Admissions Criteria this is all you need to enter their programs:

Quote:
"Applicants must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited university."

This is a diploma mill...

It requires two years of verified teaching experience. Don't most Australian and New Zealand universities omit this requirement.

I can't imagine the New School of Research being a diploma mill. It's a great and established graduate school in NYC.
