I think a fitting advertisement in response to this would be a sexy red-headed, long-legged Polish girl in a Kimono holding a Japanese Rising Sun flag with a sign in the background that reads in Japanese "Welcome to Takeshima  "
....all this to sell a brand of Japanese chewing gum.......
What do you think? |

I dont get the reference...
PS, imperial japanese flags and symbolism have been used in the west for a long time...along with endless USSR and stalinist symbolism...not to mention good old Mao.. |

Come on Star Trek is fascism in space. A federation moving through space pushing their imperialism on everyone else. Where a white guy leads, a black woman is only fit for answering the phone and no one trusts the jew with funny ears. And don't get me started on TNG.  |

Well, communism is a style of economics favouring communal ownership (ideally) while fascism is a style of government favouring centralised political power.
We know a few things about the Earth culture in Star Trek.
1. They have elections.
2. The Earth seems to be united under one governing body.
3. They no longer use money.
Sounds more like democratic socialism with a surplus of wealth for everyone. |

Roughly "Even Hitler couldn't win east and west." The point of the commercial is that this Coreana product outperforms Hitler by offering two things at one: soothing and cleansing. |
