Hello!

I am moving to Suwon in 2 weeks and I an wondering how the importing scene for video games is in Korea? Are there shops that sell recent import games? What are the prices like?

Thanks

Not sure about Xboxes and PS3s but you can get most new PC titles in English from Youngsan, someone with a better knowlage of what the building are called can help you more. I only go there every few months, but usually find what I want about a month after the US/UK release dates.

You will probably get better answers in the technology forums......

people have said before, go to yongsan for PC games. are you talking about the I Park Mall? the building attached to the station with a load of digital cameras on one floor, computers on the next, etc? ive been there a couple times and on the top floor there are a couple stalls with games but the selections were always very limited. is there another place you're talking about?

1. go out of yongsan station and go through the over pass...over the train tracks
2. take the stairs down to the first floor, exit the building
3. walk towards the main intersection straight ahead
4. there is two alleys in the building on your left....one is cell phone alley, the other is gamers alley...check that out

The building attached to the station isn't very good for PC games, in fact the last time i went I don't think I saw any there.

The directions that genezorm posted are pretty good but the last time I went down the alley next to the phone alley there was only one PC game shop with pretty poor/old games stocked.

If you follow the directions that genezorm gave but slightly changed by me you should me good.

1. go out of yongsan station, turn right and right again and go through the over pass...over the train tracks
2. take the stairs down to the first floor, exit the building
3. walk towards the main intersection straight ahead (it looks like another over pass as the walk way is covered.)
4. Go down the steps and walk through what looks like a car park, you will come to a pedestrian crossing (there are alway ajumas giving out fliers here) cross over and go straight down the stairs of building facing where you came from. Here there are about 4-5 shops selling PC games all the shops have a good selection of English games.

i've been to the area before but i don't know where the games alley is, does 'down the first floor' refer to the big main electronics building?
