Nobody ever asks my name. The line I get the most is "America?"

Yesterday the old man on the subway next to me said "US?"

I shook my head.

"England?"

I shook my head again, a little more forcefully.

"호주?"

I shook my head again and started reading something.

He said something else but I didn't care. If I had more balls and was more awake I would've asked him if he was from Japan.

Zdrastvwitya, ochen preyatna, davietya poznakomnmsya...
They won't even try to reply. On the odd chance they know Russian...you're f$*#ed.

Old guy tries to be friendly. You brush him off and on a different day would have insulted him.

Aren't you the one talking about a low level of discourse on Dave's in another thread?
