Hey! It is better than naming myself Steve Buscemi...if you watched the movie, you would know he hated the nick Mr. Pink...so again it is for a humor thing. Sure pink might be the color for *beep*...but then again it is also the color of a lot of westerner's skin. Pinkish compared to yellow.

I'm sure a lot of people in Korea have lost some major dough before. In my case, I moved out of this room just a month after I moved in. The landlady promised to refund me my 500,000 won key money, and then never answered the phone thereafter.

I also once passed out at a nightclub after drinking too much, and had my wallet stolen. I'm sure one of the waiters did it.

We all err.

We might all err...but some of us just don't err with money.

Oh, as in not repaying student loans, perhaps?

OK,

Decided not to mention it to the new boss. Been in contact with family. Hopefully they will come through ASAP. It was a fun weekend living on my last few apples and oranges in the fridge, unable to buy food. At least I got a place to stay and a job. Only a month till next paytime!

I don't feel dumb mentioning what happened. I was hoping it might cheer someone up to realize we're none of us perfect, or maybe help someone else prevent the same experience.

Hopefully you have earned some good karma, and you won't get ripped off by your boss for the same amount of money, or more.

I got ripped off for 1.7 million. Thanks to a friend on my side, I was able to get 1.1 million of that. But the fucker still owes me.

Hope you don't carry this loss like some people can. I remember this one Buddhist monk losing $10,000 and he said he was crushed for a weekend. Then knowing he could never get it back, he just allowed himself to feel bad about it for a predetermined length of time and then forget it.

It sucks to lose dough, though. We've all been there before.

10 K ?! Wow. Methinks it would be hard to just forget that quickly. Makes me feel a bit less dumb I guess. Makes less than a grand seem pretty small.

Have you gone to the police to see if anyone has turned it in?

Stranger things have happened.
