I need a new sandwich. I've been making ham and cheese forever. Help! What's your favorite sandwich to make?

Tuna and mayo, baby.

Throw in some celery, maybe some onions for good measure.

chicken salad, grilled or roast breast of chicken, pulled pork sandwich, steak sandwich...they have Maille grain mustard at Costco now. Of course, if you don't feel like making it yourself...there's a great place just off Garosugil called "Bucella" and they make great sandwiches with bread made on site. Mmm.

just add strawberry jam, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard to your ham and cheese and toast the bread a little maybe and then you're good to go

I usually roast some peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, onions and maybe eggplant in the toaster oven, with a little vinaigrette. Add good bread, a little lettuce, tomatoes and cheese melted on top. Carnivorous types could add maybe some good ham or chicken or something.

If that sounds like too much work just play around with different sandwich spreads.

The best sandwich I ever had was in one of those kosher deli's in Manhatten. It was Pastrami on rye. Its a famous Carnagy's. Woody Allen goes there. It's nice to have an order of real dill pickles on the side. None of those obnoxious sweet pickles. Real mustard is nice too. Honey mustard is for tatal wankers.

I love a good french dip. You get the roast beef and swiss and dip it in the Au jus. Its so good when you bite into the sandwich and the beef broth surges into your mouth and your teeth sink into the warm slow cooked roast beef. Then you taste the succulent soft swiss cheese and you are in heaven.

This thread is killing me...

Tuna mixed with mayo and spices spread on some kind of non-white bread. Loads of veggies: dill pickles, sprouts, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, sliced olives, red/green/yellow/jalapeno peppers... Top with some tahini, President's Choice Sweet with Heat (c) or both. Drool.

Grilled cheese and sliced olives.

Add a slice of tomato.

Any cheese, best with Swiss cheese.

Also, this reminds me of my friend who did a presentation in his 1st grade class about how to make a sandwich. It was something like:

First I find my mom, then I poke her and say "make me a sandwich, *poke* make me a sandwich, *poke* make me a sandwich...."
