Anyone know where I can pick up an inexpensive toaster oven in Seoul? Doesn't matter if it's brand new or second hand as long as it works. I'm missing my southern biscuits and gravy and have no other way of making them.

: )

I will give you my used, yet totally functional toaster oven if you will give me the recipe to said bisquits and gravy.

It works totally fine, just quite...well....used. I recently acquired an oven, so I'm no longer in need. Let me know!

The biscuits I make are easy. Personally, I usually do the frozen biscuit thing (Pillsbury or equivalent) as they're so easy and good.

Since they don't have that here in Korea, I can easily go for Bisquick "drop biscuits" which are also very easy. I'm not 100% sure if I can find Bisquick here (maybe in Itaewon) but there are Bisquick facsimile recipes on the web. Nothing to it really. Very easy stuff.

Then, the only thing is gravy. Personally, I prefer a nice pork sausage to make the gravy (Jimmy Dean or Owens brand), but, again, I'm not sure I can find it. It also works very well with the pan drippings left over after making anything chicken-fried (chicken, pork or steak). There's a little technique to it, but it isn't hard.

I could show you really easily sometime. Are you in Seoul? I'm near the Cheolsan subway station on the #7 line.

This sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen. I'm in. I live near Sinchon/Hongdae Stations. We can set up a time to pick up the little toaster oven. I will attempt to clean it before you get it, but be warned. It's very....used. Smile

Awesome! I'm really busy this weekend, but should be free a next weekend. How's Sunday for you?

Sunday good for you? Also, do you have a skillet of some sort and a baking sheet for the biscuits? I'm planning to get the ingredients on Saturday.

Also, what time's good for you?

Can you pm me with your cell #?
