I just got a DV cam and I'm looking for an editing program. Most of the 'for sale' options are rather expensive. Can anyone recommend a free editing program or suite that works well?

Also, anyone know of a free web design program?

Thanks.

Are you running Windows? Windows Movie Maker is not a bad place to start. It should already be installed on your system.

Jashaka though i've never tried it.

If you are on windows then I would definitely go with Windows Movie Maker (it's included with XP sp2 or vista)

I use notepad++
though any plain text editor would work fine.
