 Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2008 7:31 am Post subject: DO NOT TRUST USER JOHNDOE HE STOLE 900.00 FROM ME |

| Hello, I sent a user by the name of JOHNDOE 900.00 USD for a phone, he appeared to be a legitamate trader on here, so I gave him the money I was told the phone he got me was on the way through ems But was told he did not pay for a tracking number. So I waited and waited he told me the package must be lost and there is nothing that can be done. He then tells me he used his credit card and he is going to file a claim to get the money back this was about 2 months ago now and now nothing. He will not respond to any e-mails. This money Belonged to my school, so they have filed this With are FBI and Now I am being told they have maid contact with the federal authorities there and they have his address so Hopefully they get rid of this scum. But trust me there coming after him and I will let you know what happens. |

What kind of phone in Korea costs US$900?
EMS ALWAYS has a tracking number. (The ONLY mail that is not trackable is regular, 1st class letter mail.)
What does the FBI have to do with Korea? No jurisdiction.
Schools don't buy teachers $900 phones off the internet when there is a phone shop on every corner of every town and city in Korea.

I've had one dealing with Johndoe, 50,000 Won for 12 decks of Bee cards.
The cards arrived swiftly, and in perfect condition - based on that I would unconditionally recommend him as a seller. |

| Clearly something is up with the OP....even the dumbest ESL teacher's don't use "are" for "our" and "maid" for "made"....this isn't just a simple there/their slip up, which of course he did as well. |

There is no $900 phone. The most expensive phone I've seen so far is probably 700-800,000w and that is the Photogenic phone from Samsumg.
Also, schools may not be very smart sometimes, but they are EXTREMELY dilligent when it comes to things being purchased. There is no way the school would've OKed a 900,000w cell phone.
Hell, there is no way the school would've OKed a 100,000w phone. They'd try and pass off a 1980 brick phone and tell you its only 1 year old. |

You'd think so, but I knew this Canadian guy (no offense to Canadians; I am too!) who had graduated in journalism and later got his TESOL. He kept writing "scaird" instead of "scared". Go figure, some people are just really dumb; it's their own natural talent I guess! 
By the way, air76, you should have written "teachers" ... not "teacher's".  |

And why not meet up in person ??
