What promted that? I don't understand what you are referencing. This must be some cultural thing. Something that only Spliff's friends from his native Waankersville could properly appreciate, perhaps.

If the posters or the mods can't understand people have the right to their opinion regardless of its nature then that's sad.

I report anywhere from between 5 and 25 posters a day for various infractions. The mods have assured me that they have implemented a point system to keep track of my tattles.

One of my best friend's father IS Big Bird (the original creator of the character and still the guy who performs on Sesame Street).

I won't get into details as I don't want to be tracked down and sued, but rest assured the guy is most definitely NOT gay.

He also burns the sweet weeds

Can you find out for us if Bert and Ernie really are gay?

I asked that question years ago. My friend (who knew Jim Henson, et al) said positively yes. They were intentionally created to be as queer as a couple of three dollar bills.

(Sorry for my seemingly bigoted response. I jest, but the info is factual.)

Back to the original topic, I once snitched to a mod, years ago, when someone had posted something that I thought was clearly libellous of an identifiable person who was not a public figure. And on another similar occassion shortly after that, though in that case the libelled person was a public figure.

And I guess one of my recent posts on one of the "meta threads" was instrumental in getting a General Discussion thread shut down. Though as I indicated afterwards, that wasn't my intention, I was just trying to make a point about what I viewed as double standards in moderating.

Other than that, no. I don't snitch. Nothing against people who do, since having seen the absolute toilet that is an unmoderated message board, I fully support having moderators. I dunno, I just sort of feel personally uncomfortable about snitching, and in any case I think the mods will eventually catch something that is inappropriate.
