Hi,
I'm thinking about taking a job in Shanghai if nothing decent comes up in Korea. The package is the same as Korea, 30 hours p.w. and free housing but I'm just comparing the salaries and their spending/saving powers.
How will the standard of living be compared to Korea??
p.s. anybody know of any decent schools in Busan or Seoul? |

Not that I'm anyone to be handing out advice, but I have 2 friends who work in China, both of them are much happier there than in Korea. Eventhough they earn/save about half what they would get here. Neither one of them is in Shanghai though, so I can't help you there.
You can check the China forum for horror stories if you like, from what I've read, they have even more problems there with, not getting paid etc.
But if you find a good school (as in they pay you) you will probably find Chinese culture a lot more interesting than Korean.
Hope this helps
