What an odd list.

Weezer, definitely.

The Smashing Pumpkins have had some beautiful songs/albums (Disarm, Ava Adore, 1979 and the entirety of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness), and I think enough of Nirvana that I'd never refer to them as overrated. Anyone who thinks Nirvana is overrated needs to park themselves and listen to the entirety of In Utero, The Greatest Hits or MTV's Live and Unplugged.

Both bands are worthy of their fan bases.

Weezer is just a weekend-pop-rock group with songs about Hollywood and whatever other nonsense.

dmb fan, have you seen any concerts lately???

If you are refering to Dave Matthews Band concerts, I have not. The last time I saw them was 2001, at Texas Stadium. But, I saw them 6 times prior to that.

If you are refering to any other concerts in general, not yet. I was working on getting A. Defranco tickets, but it did not happen. So, I'll try and get some R.E.M. tickets.

I'd listen to any of these bands over some cheeseball hippie who dumped poop off a bridge onto people.

Yes, I was referring to Dave Matthews Band. I'm hoping to go see them in Toronto in June. Are you in Korea teaching?
