Has anyone had any trouble logging in or playing any of their games?

We've been having trouble periodically logging into station management. The same sites I was trying to log into were available to friends in other countries. When I contacted SOE over the phone about it, the best the guy was able to tell me is that Korea is sometimes a bit "funky" about websites that get filtered out and blocked. Some pages in station management work sometimes and not others, while other pages just appear to constantly be under maintenance.

Now we are unable to log into our game (Everquest 2). The servers are up and our friends online are reporting that no one else is having trouble logging in. When we log into the Character Select screen we get an error message that says "Lost connection to server!" When we try to log directly into one of our characters from the launchpad, it finds our character but then gets stuck "Trying login server #1..." and then there is no progress.

I'm worried, as I've just gotten hooked on the game and I don't want it to be denied to me now Is there anyone who can explain, in simple terms, what this "funkiness" might be and whether there are any possible remedies to it? Thank you!

SOE is garbage so are their games they have fucked up so many good games its not even funny.

Can't dispute that as I have little history playing their games. I like EQ2.

Any ideas, anyone?


Update: The boyfriend can log into Vanguard but we still can't get into EQ2. Normally if the servers were down we would be able to log into the Character Select screen at the very least, but now we can't get anything.
