| I recently acquired a cheap generic telecaster knockoff but I have no amp. I want to buy something small and not too expensive. The guitar is fairly rubbish so there's no point purchasing a decent amp. Are there any places I can find used amps and stuff? |

If you have anything above the very lowest grade pickups a nice amp will make the guitar sound pretty nice anyway. If you want something small the roland cube is pretty good.
Personally I'd go for a nice tube amp with some built in effects, but that's just me. |

I'm sorry for intruding on your thread, but I have to say that is one great avatar.
One place I'd try is facebook. Most Korean cities have an esl group and usually there are people looking to get rid of things. |

| Nagwon Sang Ga (낙원상가) near Insadong in Seoul. It's basically a mall with nothing but music stores inside. It can be hard to find. It's a building on legs above the road. It's truly awesome. |

There's a dude selling a roland cube on this site here.
For used stuff, there's a flea market / junk zone near Sindang station that's worth a browse. Go out exit 1 or 2 and walk back into the side streets (behind you if you're facing the main drag). If you walk a few blocks (past the used restaurant furniture and dog meat dogs) you'll come into a zone of second-hand electronics. You'll probably find a crappy old guitar amp in there somewhere as there's a few guys with beat-up guitars. |
