Where can I get CLEAN Spinach? I can never quite wash all the sand/dirt off spinach here. Partly cuz the spinach is often really small leaved. Any place that sells washed spinach, or perhaps large-leaf spinach? I hate biting into my spinach salad and chewing on sand particles.

Haven't found it yet. I've found that it helps to soak the spinach well at least once before you wash it, and then wash each leaf individually, front and back, opening up all the little folds. Yeah, it's a pain, but it's worth it for a grit-free salad. |

? I live in a tiny town (ha, 200'000 people is tiny now...) bought spinach at E-mart yesterday. Big leaves, no sand. I buy spinach semi-regularly and haven't experienced this problem yet. |
